LONE PINE FARM In the flatlands of Southern Montgomery County, Lone Pine Farms has been a fixture since 1871. Adam Moody's grandfather, Oscar Moody, worked the farm beginning in the 1920's, and eventually bought it in 1952. Through their labor intensive methods of livestock and feed production, the Moody family produces a wide variety of meats and grains including chicken, beef, hogs, lamb, corn, soybeans, oats, rye, hay, wheat, and spelt. The Moody Farming Philosophy: We consider our farm to be a living, viable ecosystem, not a factory. We are and have always been a family owned sustainable farm. We produce whole food from the earth. If we can't raise food the way God intended, we won't do it. Some say "It can't be done, your animals will get sick." We haven't had a vet on our farm in over 14 years. These are healthy, calm animals. We believe if one upgrades their food their health will improve.
